My name is Ginette Dignard, and I'm a self-taught artist who lives in Montreal but grew up in a small village in the
Laurentians, where my love of nature and open spaces blossomed. My paintings are inspired by small living creatures that live
in our backyards and forests. There is nothing I love more than to depict a small portion of their world, a moment in time
in their lives.
Painting is my passion. When I have a paintbrush in my hand I feel totally happy and nothing else exists around me -
It feels like a peaceful meditation. Time ceases to exist, and hours feel like minutes.
The watercolors you will find on this site were sold (or are being sold) on ebay, except for a few commissioned pieces.
